關於『Beautiful Mess』

因為「蛤蜊之歌」到分享各自歌單，發現我們對於音樂創作及喜好的共鳴，終於決定認真做一張屬於我們的EP。

當我們從尼斯開回波隆那的路上，把哼哼唱唱的東西寫成曲目，一回到家就做成真正的歌。

先有了 The Pizza Show，接著有了 The Fig Song。後來一首一首長出來，每一首都是某個我們相處的瞬間。

歌名就是創作概念。有兩個版本，因為兩種都是真的。差異在音色和混音方式——一個更重，一個更空。吵完之後世界很安靜，但沒有人離開。

來自那場名為「倫敦大逃亡」的旅行，一起逃到一個只有我們兩個人的地方。這首歌是EP裡唯一慢歌，也是許子奇最愛的一首。適合不想說話的夜晚。

整首歌跟無花果其實沒有什麼關係。只是我們在帕瑪買了火腿，打算回家配無花果。因為想要一首像我們一樣吵吵鬧鬧的歌，所以有了這首。歌詞裡藏了我們聊天特有的梗，還有我最喜歡的許氏幽默。MV風格是偶動畫，因為我喜歡。
